I really like this new plaid shirt. It almost looks like it’s made of gingham. The plaid is a simple olive green and brown, with the emphasis on the horizontal stripes. The breast pockets have two small buttons, but no flaps. The rest of the shirt also does up with buttons. (FYI: It was another fan that came up with the title, however, I do not know who coined the name.)
In Our Little World (11x05), Sam wears this shirt once he changes out of his suit, after he and Dean kill the Crowley’s minion that was coming after Goldie. He keeps it on until their encounter with Amara.
In Don’t Call Me Shurley (11x20), Sam wears this shirt at the beginning of the episode, when he presents Dean with the possible case in the Bunker, while Dean is doing the ironing.
In The One You’ve Been Waiting For (12x05), Sam wears this once they are at the diner discussing/researching what they found at the antique shop. He keeps it on until the end of the episode.
In A Most Holy Man (13x15), Sam wears this shirt when they say goodbye to the priest and discover that sometimes the most holy men are the people you meet along the way.
