My main problem is that up until now, with a few exceptions, I've been naming clothes based on how they look. Example: Dean's Marine Blue Shirt, Sam's Orange Plaid, Sam's Grey and Red Striped Shirt, etc...
The problem is that Sam has a LOT of different plaid shirts, and it all gets rather confusing to come up with different descriptive named for them.
The other thing I noticed is that when I'm actually cataloging the clothes, I call the shirts something different as I go. For example, Dean's Dark Buttoned Grey/Green Shirt is actually "Dean's S5 Finale Shirt" in my head, because that's the first time he ever wore it. Same with a couple of Sam's shirts.
So, here's my question:
Should I rename the shirts to match what I call them in my head?
Tell me what you think!
I mean, I like having Dean's Red Plaid Shirt of Angst, and Sam's Trickster Shirt...but those shirts generally always fit those themes. Renaming things could mean that we have things like "Sam's Re-Souled Shirt" even though it's not like Sam gets his soul back every time he wears it. :P
