I used to use it for all my angry letters...and awful poetry...

A "trivia and reference" note on the episode entry for Let It Bleed on the SuperWiki:

H.P. Lovecraft is seen typing his manuscript on a typewriter. these were mechanical devises in use up until the late 20th century, which were used to print text onto paper before computers

My god, I'm old.

Guys...I still own a typewriter....and I'd use it too, if ribbons were easier to come by. (Ribbons are what hold the ink in a a very fine stamp pad. Stamps are still used by bank tellers are people you used to go to in order to deposit or withdraw money from your bank account....I could do this all day...)

End of Season Fun and Games!

#1. I still have to timeline the last 3 episodes. I will try to do that soon so that I can get the timeline up. (Clothing will wait until the Fall when I have the DVDs).

#2. For those of you who read my Quick Reaction episode reviews. You know that starting at 6x06 and nearly consistently after that, I started to use song lyrics as my LJ-cut-text.

So, I thought, hey - why don't I make this into a game!

I'm going to screen comments on this entry and anyone who is interested can play....

Below is a list of all the lyrics and their respective episodes. All you have to do is name the song and the band. Now, with Google, this contest is pretty easy, but I'd like to think that my love for lesser known Canadian artists might put a bit of a spanner in the works.

6x06 - You Can't Handle the Truth - "Off with his head man, off with his head man, why can't he remember my name? I guess he does."

6x07 - Family Matters - "You beautiful f*cked up man..."

6x08 - All Dogs Go to Heaven - "Every stop I make, I make a new friend..."

6x10 - Caged Heat - "My Daddy was a Rock'n'Roller..."

6x11 - Appointment in Samarra - "Miles of rope to tie down the dying"

6x12 - Like a Virgin - "Anyway, chu content que tu r'viennes..." (*bonus points if you can translate the lyrics - and no, I haven't misspelled anything, that's what French-Canadian sounds like.)

6x13 - Unforgiven - "...with this fire in the head."

6x14 - Mannequin 3: The Reckoning - "Goodbye. Is this how you want it?"

6x15 - The French Mistake - "You may find yourself in a beautiful house with a beautiful wife..."

6x16 - And Then There Were None - "Plug your ears, cover your eyes, don't listen, don't listen..."

6x17 - My Heart Will Go On - "One way or another, I'm going to getcha getcha getcha..."

6x18 - Frontierland - "It rained all night the day I left, the weather it was dry...

6x19 - Mommy Dearest - "Your shadow turns you ugly"

6x20 - The Man Who Would Be King - "With every bridge you burn, with every lesson you unlearn"

6x21 - Let It Bleed - "You don't even know how to say goodbye..."

6x22 - The Man Who Knew Too Much - "The air outside will make our cells divide at an alarming rate..."

In a few days or a week or so, I'll post the answers and maybe one of those online playlists, if I can figure out how to make one.
If anyone gets all of them, they win a prize! I don't know what that prize is though! Maybe the winner can decide or maybe it will just be eternal glory.
If there's absolutely no contestants, I will still post the playlist, because I like my music goddammit!
SO, GUESS THE SONG! (Or google-cheat...I may never know the difference!)
