The Damned and the Saved

Dean's S12 Green Military Utility Coat

Dean's S12 Green Military Utility Coat

At first I thought this might be the Green Utility Coat of Doom – but thankfully, it has a different collar and fastening system. This coat, though, is of a similar style, just less heavy-duty. It has a sharp edges collar, shoulder epaulettes, and the breast pockets and middle do up, in part, with large green buttons that match the colour of the coat.

APPEARANCES:

In Celebrating the Life of Asa Fox (12x06), Dean shows up to Jody’s place wearing this coat. He takes it off shortly after they arrive and does not wear it again.

In Regarding Dean (12x11), Dean wears this coat for his hunt of the witch through the woods, and his subsequent awakening in the park and trip to the waffle house.

In Family Feud (12x13), Dean wears this coat when they’re in the car on the way to the case. He then wears a suit for a bit, but puts the coat back on when they go to pick up Gavin at the bus depot. He wears it until they go back to the Bunker to send Gavin back in time.

Sam's S12 Tan Snap Jacket

Sam's S12 Tan Snap Jacket

This jacket is beige/tan and does up with both snaps and a zipper. It has a single left-breast pocket that has two visible snaps on it’s flap, and two large lower pockets, also with visible snap fasteners.

Brand: Lucky Brand

Appearances:

In Lily Sunder Has Some Regrets (12x10), Sam wears this jacket every time he is not in the Bunker and not wearing a suit (he only wears a suit when they are investigating the arcade/bar where Benjamin was killed.)

In Ladies Drink Free (12x16), Sam wears this coat at the beginning of the episode when he is at the BMoL headquarters, and then when he goes to question the victim’s friend at the university with Claire – after that point, he simply wears it for the rest of the episode.

In There’s Something About Mary (12x21), Sam wears this coat at the beginning of the episode when he and Dean search Mary’s motel room, when they go to the post office, and then finally when they successfully capture Toni and bring her back to the Bunker.

In Who We Are (12x22), Sam wears this shirt whenever he is outside, including when he and Jody are storming the BMoL HQ.

In Advanced Thanatology (13x05), Sam wears this coat when he and Dean go to investigate the haunted mansion. He wears it until the end of the episode.

In ScoobyNatural (13x16), Sam wears this jacket for the entire episode (except a brief scene when he is in cartoon PJs in the mansion.)

In Let the Good Times Roll (13x23), Sam wears this coat whenever he is outside the Bunker, except for one brief scene after Jack leaves with Lucifer where Sam is inside the Bunker but has not yet taken off his coat (he takes it off before he questions the resurrected Maggie) and at the end of the episode, when Lucifer pulls him and Jack from the Bunker to the empty church, Sam does not have time to grab his coat and ends up without it.

Dean's Invisible-Snap Military Jacket

Dean's Invisible-Snap Military Jacket

This shirt is like a cross between a few of Dean’s jackets. It has shoulder epaulettes. (which is why I’m throwing the word “military” into it’s descriptive title, so that I can find it fast in my files). It’s not heavy like a utility coat, like most of Dean’s epaulette-d jackets. It’s reminiscent of Dean’s Green Coat with Sleeve Pocket, but it does NOT have a sleeve pocket. It’s most notable distinguishing characteristic from his other coats is the fact that the breast pockets don’t have visible buttons or snaps, but appear to fasten in some way (most likely a hidden snap.)

Brand Info:  These jackets are under the brand name "ALL SAINTS" and are the "Bale" style. "ALL SAINTS" is a British clothing company, and these jackets were only available in Fall/Winter of 2016.

Appearances:

In Regarding Dean (12x11), Dean wears this to the witches house, when he and Rowena go to rescue Sam – and at the end of the episode, when he and Sam say goodbye to Rowena.

In The British Invasion (12x17), Dean wears this coat at the beginning of the episode, when he and Sam return to the Bunker with takeout and find Mick waiting for them, then subsequently whenever he is outside, and finally when they return to the Bunker after the hunt is over.

In Patience (13x03), Dean wears this jacket when he meets up with Jody and Missouri to investigate the wraith-related death. He wears it for the rest of the episode.

In War of the Worlds (13x07), Dean wears this jacket when they follow the witch to her safehouse and lie in wait to catch Ketch. He takes it off when they bring Ketch back to the Bunker for interrogation. Then wears it again when they leave to rescue Cas.

In ScoobyNatural (13x16), Dean wears his jacket for the entire episode (except a brief scene when he is in a cartoon nightgown in the mansion).

Sam's S12 Blue Zipper Jacket

Sam's S12 Blue Zipper Jacket

After many seasons, Sam gets a second blue zipper jacket! It’s exciting. This jacket is lightweight and has two seamless breast pockets that do up with zippers. It doesn’t have a shirt-collar, but instead just a simple unembellished snap-up.

Brand: Lucky Brand

Dean's S12 Black Military Utility Coat

Dean's S12 Blue Military Utility Coat

Dean has yet another new blue utility coat.... which, I'm told, is actually black! This coat as epaulets on the shoulders, and is a long utility coat that rests at the upper thigh rather than the waist (distinguishing it from Dean’s shorter blue military coat that he had in the early seasons.) It has rather large looking buttons and is similar in style to this green coat.

Brand Info:  These jackets are under the brand name "ALL SAINTS" and are the "Bale" style. "ALL SAINTS" is a British clothing company, and these jackets were only available in Fall/Winter of 2016.

Appearances:

In The Raid (12x14), Dean is wearing this coat when he returns to the Bunker to find Sam gone, and then discovers that they are out of booze, and then answers the door to find Ketch wanting to hang out. He takes it off when he actually drinks with Ketch, but then puts it back on when they go out to hunt vampires – wearing it for the rest of the episode.

In The Big Empty (13x04), Dean wears this coat when they dig up the grave to see if they’re dealing with a zombie, and then again later when they go visit the therapist Mia. He wears it until they say goodbye to Mia.

In Various and Sundry Villains (13x12), Dean wears this coat when he goes out to get bear and ends up enchanted. He continues to wear it until Rowena releases him from the spell. He takes it off briefly while they talk with Rowena back at the Bunker, but then wears it again when they go out to track the book down. He takes off again once they are back home.

Sam's Grey Jacket

Sam's Grey Jacket

This smart grey jacket has no breast pockets, but two large lower square pockets that have flaps that do up with a button. The jacket itself does up with a zipper. In S13, we learn that this jacket has a really lovely red plaid lining – because Sam can never be too far away from plaid.

Appearances:

In Twigs & Twine & Tasha Banes (12x20), Sam wears this jacket to meet up with Alicia and Max. He takes it off briefly when they are hanging out in the B&B with Tasha, but puts it back on again when he goes to pick up the take out, wearing it for the rest of the episode.

In The Big Empty (13x04), Sam arrives at the Bunker wearing this jacket at the beginning of the episode, and then takes it off as he speaks with Dean. He wears it again when he, Dean, and Jack dig up the grave to see if they’re dealing with a zombie, and then again later when they make the connection between the victims and go visit Mia, the therapist that they all have in common. He wears it until they say goodbye to Mia.

In Unfinished Business (13x20), Sam is wearing this jacket when he and Dean get back from disposing of Narfi’s body. We then see him take it off. He wears it again when they are getting ready to go after Loki, and keeps wearing it until that business is finished.

Dean's Charcoal Pocketless Shirt

Dean's Charcoal Pocketless Shirt

Mostly all Dean’s shirts have breast pockets, except for one of his murder shirts (Dean’s Blood Orange Shirt) and now this one… This shirt is a very plain, blackish, greyish, greenish tone. It does up with buttons and does not have any pockets.

Brand: Untuckit

Appearances:

In The Future (12x19), Dean wears this shirt for the entire episode.

In A Most Holy Man (13x15), this MIGHT be the shirt that Dean is wearing when he and Sam meet Margaret Astor at the restaurant and then again at the end of the episode when they are in the Bunker, but I’m not sure about either.

Sam's Blue and White Large Plaid

This shirt kind of reminds me of the 60s or 70s, but it’s a plaid shirt that has a gingham feel to it, though the pattern is very large and more plaid-like. It has flapless breast pockets that do up with a button. It’s standard cut and does up with buttons.
