Dean's Green Bold-Stitching Shirt

Dean's Green Bold-Stitching Shirt

This shirt is very odd. It’s the colour green that Dean favours. It has two breast pockets and does up with dark buttons. It also has very pronounced stitching along its seams and a very odd double seam above the breast pockets (double pockets?).

Brand: *Possibly* Old Navy

Appearances:

In Bad Boys (9x07), Dean wears this shirt from when he and Sam go to the diner until the end of the episode.

Dean's S9 Grey Shirt

Dean's S9 Grey Shirt

This grey shirt is either grey or an olive green (EDIT: According to another clothes-expert, this is a green heavy wool blend). It has a distinctive cut to the breast pocket flaps, similar to Dean’s S8 Marine Blue Shirt. It does up with buttons that match the colour of the shirt.

Appearances:

In Rock and a Hard Place (9x08), Dean wears this shirt at the end of the episode, when he and Sam say goodbye to Jody Mills, and Dean attempts to tell Sam about Ezekiel.

In The Purge (9x13), Dean wears this shirt at the end of the episode when he and Sam wrap things up at Canyon Valley and then also when they are back at the Bunker talking.

This might be the shirt that Dean wear’s in Mother’s Little Helper (9x17), or at least a dark blue version of the same shirt. It could also just be that the scene is lit differently. Dean wears the shirt for the entire episode.

In Hibbing 911 (10x08), Dean wears this shirt after Donna finds out about vampires and he and Sam can drop the FBI facade. He wears it until the end of the episode.

In Halt & Catch Fire (10x13), Dean wears this shirt when he and Sam are doing their best to prevent Delilah’s murder.

Dean's S9 Black Shirt

Dean's S9 Black Shirt

This shirt is very similar to Dean’s S8 Army Green Shirt or Dean’s Dark Blue/Black Shirt, but it appears to be black and also has black buttons.  It seems to be made of a heavier cotton than Dean’s Dark Blue/Black Shirt, so I’m counting it as a different shirt. Hopefully I’m not wrong!

Appearances:

Dean wears this shirt in Captives (9x14), when he and Sam prepare to hunt the ghost that suddenly appears in the Bunker. He wears it until he changes into a suit in order to investigate the storage facilities.

In Black (10x01), Dean wears this shirt on the second day we spend with him and Crowley. We first see it in the scene when Crowley tells Dean that he’s been the one sending the demons after him. Dean wears it until the end of the episode.

In There’s No Place Like Home (10x11), Dean wears this shirt at the beginning of the episode when he eats egg white omelettes with Sam until the leave the Bunker to go try to find Charlie. He briefly wears a suit, and then changes back into this shirt while he and Sam drive to the next location, where they once again put on suits.

In About a Boy (10x12), this is one of three shirts that we see Dean wearing during the research-montage at the beginning of the episode.

In Love Hurts (11x13), Dean wears this shirt at the beginning of the episode, when he is still hungover from Valentine’s Day and in search of food and coffee.

In Lily Sunder Has Some Regrets (12x10), Dean wears this shirt at the beginning of the episode when they are in the Bunker and in the car as they travel to the scene of Benjamin’s murder.

In Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell (12x15), this might be the shirt that Dean is wearing at the beginning of the episode when he and Sam get back from two solid weeks of hunting and Dean is very dirty.

In Ladies Drink Free (12x16), this might be the shirt that Dean is wearing in the hotel lobby, when they catch up with Claire, before Mick calls it an early night.

Dean's S9 Grey Shirt with Pronounced Seams

Dean's S9 Grey Shirt with Pronounced Seams

Forgive me, I’m running out of descriptive names for Dean’s plethora of button up shirts. This one is similar to some shirts Dean’s worn in the past (including Dean's Green Bold-Stitching Shirt), but I believe it is a unique shirt. It’s grey with dark buttons. It also has pronounced seams down the front and around the pockets. It has a slightly higher and stiffer collar than Dean’s other shirts.

Brand: Eddie Bauer

Appearances:

Dean wears this shirt in Blade Runners (9x16), from when Crowley calls them for help, until they get Crowley back to the Bunker.

In Twigs & Twine & Tasha Banes (12x20), Dean wears this shirt at the beginning of the episode when he and Sam are in the Bunker worrying about Castiel and Sam gets the call from Alicia and Max.

Dean's White Henley

Dean's White Henley

Dean throws a white Henley into his wardrobe in S9, so this is a catch all category for white henleys.

Appearances:

Dean wears a white Henley in Blade Runners (9x16), from when he and Sam get the call from Crowley asking for help until they get Crowley back to the bunker.

Dean's Chicago Beige Plaid

Dean's Chicago Beige Plaid

Dean picks up a new plaid shirt when he and Sam go to Chicago. It’s a beige and brown plaid with an emphasis on the vertical brown stripes. It’s got breast pockets and does up with white buttons.

Brand: Denver Hayes

APPEARANCES:

Dean wears it for the entire episode of Bloodlines (9x20).

Dean wears it again for the entire episode of Ask Jeeves (10x06)

In Halt & Catch Fire (10x13), Dean wears this shirt at the end of the episode when they drop Delilah off at the widow’s house to make amends.

In Into the Mystic (11x11), Dean wears this shirt while they guard Mildred and wait for the banshee to strike.

In The Chitters (11x19), Dean wears this shirt when he changes out of his suit and heads into the woods to try to find Libby, and first encounters Cesar and Jesse.

In Family Feud (12x13), Dean wears this plaid at the very end of the episode when Mary returns to the bunker and comes clean about working with the Brits.

In The Raid (12x14), Dean continues to wear this shirt as he continues his argument with Mary in the opening Winchester scene of the episode.

Dean's Charcoal Plaid

Dean's Charcoal Plaid

Dean acquires yet another plaid shirt in S9. This one is a broad charcoal and grey plaid with grey buttons.

Appearances:

In Stairway to Heaven (9x22), Dean wears this shirt from when he starts interrogating Cas’ angels to find the truth behind the suicide bombings until the end of the episode.

In Do You Believe in Miracles (9x23), Dean continues to wear it for the entire episode.

In Girls, Girls, Girls (10x07), this shirt has been laundered well. Dean wears it when he and Sam go to the hotel to track down Rowena.

In About a Boy (10x12), Dean wears this shirt at the end of the episode when he and Sam see Tina off at the bus station.
In Inside Man (10x17), Dean is wearing this shirt at the end of the episode, when Sam gets home from his secret mission.

In Dark Dynasty (10x21), Dean wears this shirt in the Bunker once they get back from Omaha. He keeps it on until the end of the episode.

In The Prisoner (10x22), Dean is still wearing this shirt at Charlie’s funeral.

In Celebrating the Life of Asa Fox (12x06), Dean wears this shirt from the beginning of the episode until they get cleaned up for the wake. (note: the patterning is a little different than my reference pictures, but the plaid is similar enough that I’m calling this the same shirt, even though it’s a slightly different duplicate.)

In The Thing (13x17), Dean wears this shirt at the end of the episode when he and Sam return to the Bunker and find Ketch with Gabriel, and Dean decides to go to the Apocalypse World.

In Bring ‘Em Back Alive (13x18), Dean continues to wear this shirt for the entire episode.

FATE: It gets severely blood stained when Dean is slain by Metatron while wearing it, in Do You Believe in Miracles (9x23).

In Bring 'Em Back Alive (13x18), Dean gets shot in the right shoulder while wearing this shirt.
