What is it about this fic, that no matter how much of it you give us, I always want to see more :-)

Hell, after the meaning of souls with the horcruxes, I wonder what Harry would make of soulless Sam.
Jan. 4th, 2011 04:30 pm (UTC)
Harry would be freaked-the-hell-out by the very idea of soulless Sam, I think. Not sure if I'll write it though...we'll see.

I'm really glad you like this 'verse so much. It's become one of my favorite things to write, if not my very favorite thing to write. :)

Well, you know how to make someone cries. But it's really beautifully written and the end is excellent. Both the last paragraphs and the very mast line.
Good job!!!!

Thank you!

I made myself cry when I was writing it. And I'm REALLY glad you like the end, because it took me forever (well, a couple days at least) to get that part right...and after obsessing over that closing paragraph for three days, I then wrote the last line as a last minute thing right before I posted...so, yeah...so very glad it worked out. :P

oh god, i was so surprised to find this! i cried, i smiled, and now i want more of course... it was amazing.

so thank you

ill be waiting for any vanished scene you decide to write; theyre all pretty awesome.

Thank you!

Might not be more for a while, but I'm sure I won't be able to abandon this 'verse for too long ;)

I love that there is a group of people to mourn Sam beyond Dean and Bobby. Heartbreaking to have to explain all of this to children. I'm gonna go find tissues now....
Jan. 4th, 2011 04:38 pm (UTC)
Oh man, I know! I couldn't imagine poor Harry and Draco trying to decide what to tell the little kids...and actually, beyond the letter itself, the scene where Harry tells Teddy was the one that made me cry while writing it.

But yes, one of the reasons I really wanted to write this piece was to have people beyond Dean and Bobby mourn Sam.

I'm glad you liked it, despite the need for tissues ;)

Oh my god. I love you. This timestamp...made me cry my eyes out. In fact, I'm still crying now. Dean! And how everybody reacted! But the conversation between Harry and Draco in the pub takes the cake and the bacon and even the spinach. There is HOPE! Now let me go and mourn a little more for the boys.
Jan. 5th, 2011 04:58 pm (UTC)
Thank you :)

I am so thankful to Draco for giving me a chance to write in a little hope...I honestly didn't quite know how I was going to manage it until I actually sat down and started writing that scene, and then Draco basically sat down with me and said "this is where the hope is..."....if that makes any sense.

I've very glad you liked it!

How dare you make me cry so early in the morning! This was absolutely wonderful and I love how everyone handled the news, how they each felt about the brothers. Now we just have to wait to see where the sequel takes us.
Jan. 5th, 2011 05:00 pm (UTC)
I love your confidence that there will be a sequel ;)

Maybe I should have put a warning up "may be a little bit sad"...haha, just so people didn't read it with eye make-up on. :P

Thank you for reading, and I'm happy you liked it!

AWWWW!! For fucking Jesus Crist! That was so!!!!.. and then the letter!.. and George with Ron!!!... and then Draco (and Hermaione)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh GOD, I need to breathe, breathe it's a important thing..... I CAN'T! THAT WAS FUCKING AWESOME!!! But, I actually resent that almost anyone thought in my baby Dean, I mean, yeah, Sam defect The Devil (only 'cause Dean was there ¬¬ if not the fucking war would be started) but he was incredible selfish in the end! He wanted my baby live the life that HE always wanted, not wath DEAN wanted. I mean, my baby boy only had two thing in the worl: his family and the Hunt.. and in the end Sam take both from him? Come on!

Anyway, Draco and George worried for my child, so I like them for that ^^

I will love (and I mean LOVE) to read more of this series or something more (anything) were my Deannie can appears

Ja ne! ;) (PD. sorry for the grammar, I'm overexited :P)
Jan. 5th, 2011 05:07 pm (UTC)
I'm glad you liked it!

It's important to know that the only thing they had that told them what happened was Dean's letter - and DEAN (in this story), told them it was Sam who defeated the devil...downplaying his own role, probably just out of the desire for people to know how great Sam was, and how much Dean loves him and is proud of him etc.

And to be fair to Sam, he was just trying to give Dean the happiest life he could...don't go poking at the cage and undoing all this work...don't spend the rest of your life in an alcohol-fueled haze while you try desperately to get me out of hell (as Sam himself did when Dean was gone). I've talked about it in another place on my journal, but basically, neither Sam nor Dean KNEW whether Dean would be happy or not without the hunt...but both of them wanted Dean to try it.

But yes, trust me...there was plenty of worry for poor Dean.

I'm sure I'll have other timestamps in the future :)

Thank you for reading!

So that standard "I cried." Then I laughed when Draco had to go and prove himself to be better than Harry. Don't apologize for making people cry. Don't ever apologize for that as a writing. Getting people to cry marks a great work. Never be sorry for producing something that beautiful.
Jan. 5th, 2011 05:09 pm (UTC)
Aww, thanks. I will immediately cease to apologize...though I do wonder if I should have put a little warning in my header :P

Yay! I'm glad I made you smile, even if I made you cry...I realized only when I was writing it that if I didn't have an optimistic ending, I'd be sending everyone into a horrible depression. :P

Thanks for reading! (and I'm sure this won't be my last time writing in this 'verse - the thing about sandboxes is that even when you leave them, you always end up at home with sand in your shoes.)
Jan. 5th, 2011 11:25 pm (UTC)
I just cried my way through this. Immensely powerful and sad, but oh! what an end!

Please do more. Please, oh please, please.
Jan. 5th, 2011 11:38 pm (UTC)

I'm sure I'll do more eventually...it's far too much fun to write.

Thank you for reading!
Jan. 6th, 2011 09:32 am (UTC)
*sniffle* You are awesome, you know that, right?

I really love this 'verse you made, I wanna go live there with them all. *waits for more*
Jan. 6th, 2011 04:48 pm (UTC)
Thank you!

I want to live with them too...it's why I can't seem to stop writing stories in this 'verse. It's my favorite escape :)
Jan. 6th, 2011 11:52 am (UTC)
Dang it! I wanted to not-read, since I had a very distinct feeling where this was going. But I did and now I'm all red-eyed and sniffly. *grumble*

Sad, heartbreaking thing, to read about how the Potters learned about the end of Lucifer.
And thank you for putting Draco in it, and making him awesome and smart. And for his insight to the Winchesters as being more, somehow, than even an angel.

Now, I need some happier timestamps. But I also need some happier episodes, so maybe I'll have to try myself in patience until we know what happened after being re-souled.

Also, I'd like a pony and a car and a dream-house, while I'm at it ;-)

Happy New Year, btw.
Jan. 6th, 2011 04:53 pm (UTC)
Awww, *hugs*

I'll start working on that pony and car and dream-house ;)

No, seriously, at some point in the next few weeks I want to do a comment-fic meme on my journal...so you'll get an opportunity then to request something happy if you like! However, I cannot help you with the episodes themselves...I'll be crossing my fingers that our Sammy is okay when the show returns (or at least, relatively okay).

Happy New Year to you too!

Thanks for reading even though you knew it was going to be super sad! :)
Jan. 6th, 2011 06:08 pm (UTC)
Thank you for this glimpse after the events in the last story and end of season 5. It's nice to see the repercussions of Sam's death on others - and I'd love to see how the wizards would save him!
Jan. 6th, 2011 06:36 pm (UTC)
and I'd love to see how the wizards would save him!

As would I, except I'm not sure I'm going to write it, because I like to stick with canon when I write...though, it is fun to imagine other possibilities.

Thank you for reading and I'm very glad that you liked it. :)
Jan. 7th, 2011 09:38 pm (UTC)
This was just as good as the others. Very sad. There was tears.
Jan. 8th, 2011 12:07 am (UTC)
:) I'm glad you liked it. There were a few tears while I was writing it, so I commiserate.
Jan. 7th, 2011 11:49 pm (UTC)
Love it!
So I know that I don't review often, I think this is my favorite stories that I am reading now. I did "forget" to read it for a few weeks so I had extra chapters to read and now a sequel!! Anyway keep up the good work!
