I'm not sure how many of you noticed, but I changed verb tenses at the end. It was intentional. So, now I'm wondering...
What did you think of the verb tense change at the end of my story?

Don't worry about offending me - I have 34 comments on that story telling me how awesome it is, so I'm more than capable of taking a pinch of criticism along with all that praise ;)
