1. Daniel Radcliffe
- I think it's absolutely awesome that Daniel Radcliffe is endorsing the Trevor Project in the US. I've been interested in gay rights/issues for years, and there sometimes seems to be this odd social-concept that straight people can't be interested/supportive of LGBTQ issues. There's been many a time when I've expressed my opinion about gay rights and been given the "are you gay or something?" look/question, and had to say "I'm not gay, I just don't like discrimination!" But it really shouldn't be something I have to justify at all. Anyway, I like the idea that Dan is showing all his 14 year-old fangirls that LGBTQ issues are something that we can all take an interest in and be supportive of. It makes me think that the future will be a better place.

2. Ruby and Sam
- The other day I was thinking about Ruby and Sam...specifically, I saw an icon of their sex scene in IKWYDLS, and my first thought was "oh yeah, that scene where Ruby raped Sam." Then I thought about how someone said somewhere that Genevieve consciously played Ruby as though Ruby were in love with Sam...and I got to thinking that if Ruby loved Sam, then she loved him like a pet, not a person. And not like the kind of person who is GOOD to their pets...the kind of person who loves their pet, but also abuses it. Basically, I think Ruby was an abusive pet-Sam owner, if that makes any sense.

3. Religion
- I really like being an atheist. This has actually been a revelation of the past few days - I've always been rather indifferent about my lack of religion. But recently, I've been thinking about it, and I've realized that I really really like not believing in any form of higher power. I find it both challenging and rewarding. That being said, I still am a firm believer that you reap what you sow - I'm not sure how that fits into the structure of the cosmos, but it's one un-scientific belief that I'm not going to be letting go of anytime soon. Of course, this isn't to say that I don't respect other people's choices to believe in God or religions or the Universe/Earth as an entity or whathaveyou...I'm just saying that it's not for me.
